|

The latest AVG update (269.24.4/1474) fixes this problem. It has just been brought to our attention that the latest AVG update is detecting the virus "Klone.Z" in all of the Bulk Image Downloader executables.
This is a FALSE POSITIVE. We assure you that Bulk Image Downloader DOES NOT contain any form of virus, trojan or any other malware. We have reported this issue to AVG and are currently awaiting feedback.
AVG has a history of false positive reporting (with our software and others), so we would advise our clients to uninstall AVG and install another free anti virus program, such as Avast.
If you wish to continue using AVG you can work around this problem by excluding Bulk Image Downloader from AVG's resident shield as follows: 1. Open the AVG user interface 2. Select 'Tools->Advanced Settings' 3. Select 'Resident Shield'->'Exceptions' 4. Click on 'Add Path' 5. Browse to and select your Bulk Image Downloader folder (normally C:\Program Files\Bulk Image Downloader) 6. Click on OK
Thank you for your patience and understanding. |
